JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
- Monitors housekeeping personnel to ensure all guests and internal customers receive prompt and courteous service.
- Establishes and maintains effective human relations and works with human resources to ensure that the team members' performance is effectvely managed.
- Identifies and ensures highest possible standard of cleanliness, maintenance, guest room supplies and amenities at a realistic cost.
- Supervises outside contractors to ensure contractual compliance.
- Implements and controls all housekeeping policies and procedures according to required standards and schedule all rotational duties for staff.
- Monitor all sub-activities for departments and maintain records of all expenses and control all costs for department and recommend ways to increase efficiency.
- Maintains a lost-and-found department and is responsible for all lost-and-found items. Determines the rightful owner and send correspondences.
Requirements
- Must be willing to relocate to Dili, Timor Leste
- Candidate must have at least 3 years of working experience as an Executive Housekeeper in a hotel
- Must have the ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services
- Must be physically fit and can work effectively in a stressful environment, communicate well with others, effectively deal with guests and be able to accept/handle constructive criticism
- Must have a meticulous attention to details
- Must have a good interpersonal skills
- Required language(s): English and Bahasa
