Executive Housekeeper Timor Plaza Hotel & Apartments

 JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities: 
  • Monitors housekeeping personnel to ensure all guests and internal customers receive prompt and courteous service.
  • Establishes and maintains effective human relations and works with human resources to ensure that the team members' performance is effectvely managed.
  • Identifies and ensures highest possible standard of cleanliness, maintenance, guest room supplies and amenities at a realistic cost.
  • Supervises outside contractors to ensure contractual compliance.
  • Implements and controls all housekeeping policies and procedures according to required standards and schedule all rotational duties for staff.
  • Monitor all sub-activities for departments and maintain records of all expenses and control all costs for department and recommend ways to increase efficiency.
  • Maintains a lost-and-found department and is responsible for all lost-and-found items. Determines the rightful owner and send correspondences.

Requirements
  • Must be willing to relocate to Dili, Timor Leste
  • Candidate must have at least 3 years of working experience as an Executive Housekeeper in a hotel
  • Must have the ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services
  • Must be physically fit and can work effectively in a stressful environment, communicate well with others, effectively deal with guests and be able to accept/handle constructive criticism 
  • Must have a meticulous attention to details
  • Must have a good interpersonal skills
  • Required language(s): English and Bahasa
